JJLive CS Cohorts

About JJ

Built by one instructor, taught live, every single cohort

JJ exists because too many people buy CS courses they never finish. Live classes, a real cohort, and an instructor who shows up to every session — that's the bet.

Why I started JJ

After years working as a software engineer and mentoring beginners on the side, one pattern kept repeating: recorded courses were bought with good intentions and abandoned within a week. The problem wasn't the content — it was the format. A video doesn't know when you're stuck, and a comment section is a poor substitute for someone explaining a concept a second way, live, right when you need it.

JJ is my attempt to fix that. Every class is live, taught by me, over Zoom. Cohorts are kept small on purpose, so I can actually see who's following along and who needs the concept explained differently — something that's simply not possible in a lecture hall of hundreds or a pre-recorded video watched by thousands.

This is a new program, and I'd rather be upfront about that than invent numbers to sound established. What I can promise is what's actually within my control: I teach every session myself, the curriculum is built from real industry experience, and I care whether you finish it — not just whether you enroll.
